CRYO ry kokous 11.5.19

Hyvät jäsenet,

Olette kutsuttuja Oulun yliopiston roolipelikerhon CRYO ry:n kokoukseen. Kokous pidetään Kaijonharjun nuorisotalolla (Kalevalantie 5, Oulu) Maracon XLII yhteydessä sunnuntaina 19.5.2019 klo 13.00. Kokouksessa esitellään hallituksen työstämä sääntömuutos. Sääntömuutoksen syynä ovat uudistuneet kriteerit OYY:n piirissä toimiville harrastejärjestöille Sääntömuutosta on mahdollista vielä muuttaa kokouksessa, eli tulkaa paikalle kuulemaan ja vaikuttamaan. Hyvien järjestökäytäntöjen mukaisesti hyväksymme sääntömuutoksen vasta seuraavassa kokouksessa, joka tulee olemaan CRYO ry:n sääntömääräinen kevätkokous kuun vaihteessa. Tämän kokouksen tarkoitus on siis hyväksyä sääntömuutoksen lopullinen muoto, jonka läpimenemisestä äänestetään seuraavassa kokouksessa.

Dear members,

You are invited to the meeting of Oulu university’s roleplaying club CRYO ry. The meetings is held at the Kaijonharju Youth house (Kalevalantie 5, Oulu) at Maracon XLII on sunday 19.5.2019 13.00. In the meeting, the board presents the planned changes to the rules of CRYO ry. The motive for the changes are the new criteria for hobby organizations under OYY. The planned changes are discussed, and they can be altered in the meeting, so please come. The vote for approval of the rule changes will be held at the next meeting of CRYO ry, which will be the spring meeting around the end of may.

Maracon XLII järjestetään 17.5-19.5 2019 Kaijonharjun nuorisotalolla. Lisää tietoa tarkemmasta aikataulusta ja toiminnasta kerrotaan myöhemmin.

Maracon tulee taas 1.-3.3.2019 Kaijonharjun nuorisotalolle (Kalevalantie 5, Oulu)!

Maracon on Oulun yliopiston roolipelikerho CRYO ry:n järjestämä ilmainen, päihteetön ja kaikille avoin pöytäpelitapahtuma. Luvassa on roolipelejä, lautapelejä, korttipelejä, digipelejä ja muuta nörttimeininkiä!

CRYO tuo paikalle lautapelivarastonsa ja lisäksi voit tuoda paikalle omia pelejäsi. Isompiin peleihin ilmoittautuminen ja omien roolipelien tai isompien lautapelien ilmoittaminen tapahtuu biljardipöydällä aulassa.

Alle kahdeksantoistavuotiaat ovat myös tervetulleita, mutta vain huoltajan/vanhemman kaverin seurassa tai huoltajan kirjoittaman lupalapun kanssa, emme ota vastuuta pelien aiheuttamista traumoista alaikäisille!

Conin säännöt ja muu info tulee olemaan taas Suurella Infoseinällä, sieltä voi lukailla asioita. Kunnioitathan sääntöjä, jotka voi kiteyttää: ota toiset huomioon äläkä ole oikean elämän murhakulkuri-pelaajahahmo. CRYOn ständillä voi ostaa CRYOn myyntitavaraa ja tulla jäseneksi, kysy jäseneduista ja jäsenöitymisestä jäsenvastaavalta, Toritädiltä tai CRYOn hallituslaisilta/ Maracon-tiimiläisiltä! Muista kirjoittaa nimesi myös vieraskirjaan!

Mikäli on kysyttävää tai mikäli olet kiinnostunut ohjelman, esimerkiksi isomman turnauksen tai runsaasti tilaa vaativan ohjelmanumeron, järjestämisestä, voit tuoda asian esille tapahtumasivulla tai ottaa yhteyttä Maraconin tekijätiimiin! Jos halajat myös myydä nörtti-, scifi- tai fantasia-aiheista myyntitavaraasi, tai edustaa peliaiheista järjestöäsi, ota yhteyttä niin saadaan aikaan torikujailua! Talkoovoima tapahtuman järjestämiseen myös aina tervetullutta!

MAJOITUS

Conimajoitus järjestetään tässäkin Maraconissa lattiamajoituksena isossa salissa. Jos tarvitset vielä majoitusta, ota yhteyttä hallitukseen (hallitus@cryo.fi) niin Innkeepperimme Timo Mattila sitten hoitaa majoitusasiasi kuntoon!

Tämä tarkoittaa edelleen myös sitä, että nukkumisaikaa on rajoitettu ja iso sali hiljenee nukkujien käyttöön iltaisin ja tyhjennetään nukkuvista
aamulla n. klo 9 .

Paikalla on (rajoitettu) lukollinen tila, johon saa tavaroita säilöön, ja HUOM. ottakaa omat patjat, makuupussit ja tyynyt yms. mukaan, emme voi luvata mitään mukavuuksia!
Pesutilat järjestyvät myös viereisestä Apinatalosta, peseytymisajoista sovitaan Innkeeperin kanssa joka teidät tälle lähteelle johdattaa. Jos tarvitsette jotain tai on muuta kysyttävää, Maracon-tiimi auttaa.

Fantasy Flight Gamesin jännittävääkin jännittävä Keyforge-korttipeli on laskeutunut myös Maraconiin! Järjestän lauantaina 2.3. kello 12:00 Sealed-turnauksen! Mukaan mahtuu 16 pelaajaa ja osallistumismaksu on 10€, jolla saa pitää pelissä avaamansa pakan mukaan. Ilmoittautuminen alkaa perjantaina 21:00 ja lomake löytyy Maraconin ilmoitustaululta!

Winter Maracon comes again this winter on the weekend of 1.-3.3.2019!

Held in the rustic venue of Kaijonharju’s youth house (Kalevalantie 5, Oulu), Maracon is a free tabletop gaming event that’s open for all! There will be role-playing games, board games, card games, digital games and of course meeting other like-minded people, with the event playing out the whole weekend.

CRYO ry, the role-playing club of the university of Oulu will bring its own hoard of games to play from, and people are invited to bring their own favourites as well! Bigger games will be announced and signed up to at the designated info board in the main lobby.

All underage people are very welcomed, but youngsters must be with their guardian or an older friend, or bring a written permission from their caretakers, since we’re not taking responsibility for what happens at the table to the younglings! The event is also drug- and alcohol-free.

The rules of the con and all other information regarding Maracon will be once again in the Great Infowall. Go ahead and read the stuff, and honor our rules, which can be summarized: be considerate to others, and don’t be a real life murderhobo PC. CRYOs own stand will hold merchandise for you to buy, and you can also become a member at the con, ask about becoming a member and membership perks from our membership manager, the Market lady, or other Maracon / CRYO team! Also remember to write your name in the guest book!

If you have any questions or if you’re interested in arranging some program, you may bring it up on the event page or contact the CRYO team arranging the event! Also if you want to sell your scifi- or fantasy- (or just nerd-) related stuff, or want to represent your gaming related organization, contact us and we’ll get a market going! Volunteering to help with organizing the event is also always welcomed!

ACCOMMODATION

This con, accommodation happens again at the event in the big hall. If you need accommodation, then contact us at hallitus@cryo.fi, and we’ll see to it that you’re getting your spot, and Innkeeper will take care of you!

This means again that the sleeping time is limited, and the big hall will be reserved and quieted for the use of the ones sleeping there in the evenings and taken back to common use at around 9 in the morning.

There is (limited) lockable space to hold your stuff in, and HOX: bring your own mattress, beddings/sleeping bag, pillow and other stuff you might need, we can’t promise you anything else but the floor to sleep on.
There will also be bathing opportunity at the nearby Monkey House, the schedules for bathing will be discussed with Innkeeper, who leads you to the magic pool of cleanliness. If you have any questions or are still in need of some beddings, Innkeeper and the rest of the Maracon-team will gladly help you.

Keyforge Sealed (Samuli Raninen):

Keyforge, the most exciting card game by Fantasy Flight Games has landed in Maracon! I’ll be organizing a Sealed tournament on Saturday 2.3. at 12:00! There is space for 16 players and the entry fee is 10€, and you will be able to keep the deck you open. The registration opens on Friday at 21:00, and the form will be found in the Maracon game board!
