Puhaltakaa pölyt nopistanne, sillä Pohjois-Suomen suurin ja kenties kaunein rooli -ja lautapelitapahtuma Maracon pidetään taas 6.-8.10. viikonloppuna Kaijonharjun nuorisotalolla (Kalevalantie 5, Oulu), tuoden pelin iloa pimenevään syysiltaan!
Maracon on Oulun yliopiston roolipelikerho CRYO ry:n järjestämä ilmainen, päihteetön ja kaikille avoin pöytäpelitapahtuma. Luvassa on roolipelejä, lautapelejä, figupelejä, digipelejä sekä muuta ohjelmaa! CRYO tuo paikalle lautapelivarastonsa ja lisäksi voit tuoda paikalle omia pelejäsi. Isompiin peleihin ilmoittautuminen ja omien roolipelien tai isompien lautapelien ilmoittaminen tapahtuu pääilmoitustaululla aulassa. Alle kahdeksantoistavuotiaat ovat myös tervetulleita, mutta huoltajan, vanhemman kaverin tai huoltajan kirjoittaman lupalapun kanssa, emme ota vastuuta pelien aiheuttamista traumoista!
Ohjelma- ja majoitustiedot päivitetään tapahtumaan myöhemmin.
Mikäli on kysyttävää tai mikäli olet kiinnostunut ohjelman, esimerkiksi isomman turnauksen tai runsaasti tilaa vaativan ohjelmanumeron, järjestämisestä, voit tuoda asian esille tapahtumasivulla tai ottaa yhteyttä Maraconin tekijätiimiin! Jos halajat myös myydä nörtti-, scifi- tai fantasia-aiheista myyntitavaraasi, tai edustaa peliaiheista järjestöäsi, ota yhteyttä niin saadaan aikaan torikujailua! Talkoovoima tapahtuman järjestämiseen myös aina tervetullutta!

Prepare your dice! Maracon, the biggest and perhaps the fairest tabletop gaming event in northern Scandinavia, comes again on 6.-8. of October, at the youth house of Kaijonharju (Kaijonharjun nuorisotalo), Kalevalantie 5, Oulu, bringing the light of games to the darkened nights!
Maracon is a free gaming event that is open for all! The event organizer is the role-playing club of the university of Oulu. There will be role-playing games, board games, digital games, contests, and so on. CRYO will be bringing their hoard of board games and in addition to that you are free to bring your own games! Bigger games and role-playing games will be announced and signed up to at the designated info board in the main lobby. All underage people are very welcomed, but youngsters must be with their guardian or an older friend or bring a written permission from their caretakers, since we’re not taking responsibility on what happens at the table!

If you have any questions or if you’re interested in arranging some program, you may bring it up on the event page or contact the CRYO team arranging the event! Also if you want to sell your scifi- or fantasy- (or just nerd-) related stuff, or want to represent your gaming related organization, contact us and we’ll get a market going! Volunteering to help with organizing the event is also always welcomed!
